A special triple coloured vinyl set commemorating 35 years of an iconic debut that Metal Hammer called 'the definitive Doom album’.
This edition includes a remastered version of the album itself, as well as a collection of Candlemass’s essential 1985 recordings preceding the ‘Epicus…’ sessions (in the form of the ‘Witchcraft’ demo, the OAL studio recordings and the band’s Upplands Väsby rehearsal from November of 1985).
Each vinyl is presented in its own sleeve, with the ‘Epicus Doomicus Metallicus’ LP containing a layout closely reflecting the initial pressings of the original edition.
The set also includes an 8 page 12” booklet with images from the era and accompanying text, plus an A2 poster and a handwritten letter print from founder Leif Edling.
Metal riffs blend with neo-classical touches and theatrical elements on an era-defining release.
